Paul Scoonover

Today, Paul is known by his team and community as a multi-talented artist and creative leader. But he didn’t get to where he is overnight.

First serving in the U.S. Navy, Paul went on to complete his BFA at the University of Tennessee before starting a career in corporate communications. Previously serving as Creative Director at the Masonite Corporation and in recruitment at the Tennessee Valley Authority, he gained diverse experience that further developed his love of all things creative.

It was this same love of creativity that drove Paul to begin the next chapter of his life. In 1983, he opened the doors to his very own full-service advertising and marketing agency. Paul started Asen with a simple mission in mind: to grow brands to a point of continued success. And in 2009, he was inducted into Knoxville’s AAF Advertising Hall of Fame for doing just that.

Nearly 40 years later, Paul is more committed to growing strong, reputable brands than ever. His drive for success and dedication to quality work have earned him a regional reputation as an industry expert. However, it’s his positive outlook and constant encouragement that our team appreciates most.
