Paul is known by his team and community as a multi-talented artist and creative leader — but he didn’t get to where he is overnight…

Paul’s journey began with service in the U.S. Navy, followed by earning his BFA at the University of Tennessee and launching a career in corporate communications. As Creative Director at Masonite Corporation and a recruiter at TVA, he gained diverse experience that fueled his passion for creativity. In 1983, he founded Asen with a simple mission: to grow brands into lasting success. Decades later, his impact was recognized with his induction into Knoxville’s AAF Advertising Hall of Fame.

Over 40 years later, Paul remains dedicated to helping businesses thrive. Now serving as a consultant and member of Asen’s leadership team, he helps guide the company while fostering innovative thinking. His leadership and support continue to have a lasting impact on team Asen and those fortunate enough to learn from his big-picture mindset and decades of industry expertise.

I’m always building, whether it’s sculptures in my studio, renovating our home, or building people up in life.

My first love was basketball and I've played racquetball for 20 years, so the gym feels like a second home.
