Be Grateful. Be Thankful. Be Appreciative. Be Fortunate.
We have so much to be thankful for. But why do we let daily nuances bring us down? Is it the pressure of our seemingly perfect social world telling us we are not successful enough? I read a quote the other day that I’d like to share:
“the secret to having it all is believing you already do.”
Let’s take time to celebrate what we do have and use this positive energy to then help others.
Sharing the love
Asen has much to be grateful for as we are celebrating our 35th year in business! As a team, we are using our own celebration as a jumping point to help others find success too. This lead us to adopting one local and one global nonprofit into our client family this year. Our team is on a mission to create compelling passion projects with the hope of making a positive impact in the lives of those around us.
What’s a passion project? These are projects designed to highlight a cause we care deeply for. It’s an opportunity for our team to combine our skills and then implement campaigns designed to raise awareness and instill hope in others.
Hidden within Knoxville
Being located in Downtown Knoxville, we encounter the less fortunate and homeless on a daily basis. We see their struggles, we see their creative methods of survival and we see individuals who need a helping hand and a little touch of hope. Do you see them?
CareCuts is a nonprofit providing monthly haircuts and grooming services to the homeless of Knoxville with the mission of helping them find a new path to a job and home. This growing organization strives to show those without homes that hope can be found again. It’s more than just a haircut – they are restoring dignity to the lives of those who have lost their way. We felt so compelled by their mission that we asked to be their partner in raising awareness around the city of Knoxville. Our passion project is centered on opening the eyes and hearts of Knoxville and challenging one another to take action in helping our own.
CareCuts needs donors and volunteers of all kinds to continue their mission. Join us in helping to give people of Knoxville, our neighbors, a glimpse of hope again.
Can you hear us?
Did you know over 76 million people in this world can’t hear? … 76 million!
Can you imagine going through life without hearing the voices of those closest to you, your favorite music or the wondrous sounds of nature? Just try and imagine a world without sound…
International Christian Centers for the Deaf (ICCD) is a nonprofit dedicated to serving deaf children in developing countries. ICCD came to Asen in need after recently trying an approach to marketing which left them with a loss of over $10,000. Through the stories ICCD shared with us, we learned deaf children are often rejected in the communities they call home. Families do not know how to care for them and subsequently the children suffer greatly. ICCD’s mission is to find these children, bring them to a safe and loving environment and teach them life skills with the hopes they will one day be self-sufficient in this world.
After hearing their stories and seeing the photos and videos of the loving children they are serving worldwide, we knew we had to join their cause. Together, we have put our skills to work and created another passion project designed to tell the story of what these children need through the eyes of a child. It is our hopes this campaign will reach the hearts of donors nationwide.
Find your cause
So why have we shared our passion projects with you? We want to challenge you to find a cause that you and your organization believe in. Challenge you to reach out and offer assistance. Realize we have much to be thankful for and take a step towards sharing hope with others.
Make a difference.
Knoxville is and always will be a maker’s city. After decades of producing top-tier leaders and game-changers, this expanding city has made a name for itself as a hub for continued innovation, diverse growth, and explosive creativity.
